Thank you for taking the time to look over, and go thorough my web pages. I do appreciate it. Now on to the shipping, normally we used Fed Ex Ground for all of our shipping. Occasionally, we may ship a package with UPS, or even the US Post Office.
This being said, we will no longer ship “Any” item outside the continental 48 states with the US Post Office. If you absolutely insist on using the US Post Office, outside the US, we will ship the item, but after it leaves our hands, it’s gone! Please, do not call us if you choose the Post Office, and it never arrives. Sorry about the bluntness of this message, but, we’ve only have had just a few satisfactory shipments with the US Post Office. This would also include Canada.

Shipping charges for overseas, or outside of the USA, customers. You may see that there are two different charges on your credit card; the first is for your order, which we have just completed. The second charge is the actual shipment charges, which we are charged, from the shipper of your choice.
We do it this way to cover our charges on shipments. Sometimes the rates seem to change between the times that we call to get a rate, and when we actually go to ship the package. Therefore, the shipment charges that we give you over the email, or telephone would be only approximation, and not a guarantee of a set {overseas/out of country} shipping price.

On advice from my bank, and due to an influx of bad checks, bad international money orders, bad credit cards, and scam credit card fraud, I have reached a point that I have to implement a new standing mode of operation, for “some” of our overseas customers. There seems to be certain countries that tend to have higher credit card fraud, than other countries have.
Therefore, with advice from my bank, some overseas customers will have to first electronically wire the full payment to my bank account. You can email me for all of the details. I have also set up a special bank account just for these situations. Very little money is kept in this account, except for wire transfers. Once the money is in the bank account, they tell me that there will be a 10 "business" day waiting period before the money can be withdrawn.
However, rest assured that once the money is in the account, {before the 10 "business" day waiting period is up}, I will then start on your order(s). Once the monies have been cleared to withdraw, only then will I ship the products. Please note, that this is nothing personal, against you, nor your country, just protecting myself, from scammers, and credit card fraud. As my grandmother use to say…”One bad apple will spoil the bunch.” She was so right, and yes, I have been taken! Thank you for your understanding. ~Wayne~

Attention:
If you are purchasing a seat from Heather's Leathers we will need one of the following as a core charge: a seat pan from you, or the cost of a seat pan. (This could include any Indian/Harley or other make that is in usable condition.) If we do not receive a core from you, we will then charge you for a core. Also, this core charge is in addition to the cost of your seat.
